'An Act' is a form of care after witnessing a cow fostering a calf. The economy and welfare of the animal are at stake in the moment of a dance. The calfskin undergoes a 19 day process of attention, care and labour.

It is part of body of work 'Transpose' comprising of three works questioning the complex relationships farming and art practices have to land through observation and action. My interest is understanding the contemporary rural by examining forms of labour.
